PAYMENT

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Elo, ShopPay, ApplePay, GooglePay, FacebookPay and PayPal. 

Any orders paid via e-check or other method that is not immediate will not be created/shipped until the payment has cleared before shipping. We will begin creating custom orders / ship once we receive notification that the funds have been deposited by our payment processor.  This can often take 7-10 business days. 

US SHIPPING 

  • Most orders ship within 1-2 Business Days.  Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday or major US Holidays.
  • When your order is shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to you so you can follow it's progress. 
  • If your purchase is a gift and you need a gift note added, please mention that in the notes when you order. 
  • We offer USPS and FedEx for shipping.  
    • "Standard" US shipping: 
      •  Standard US shipping is via USPS Ground Advantage and includes up to $100 insurance.  
      • As USPS is still seeing some delays as they work out whatever they're claiming to be "improving" while continually raising their rates, we strongly recommend FedEx 2Day shipping for all time-sensitive orders.
      • Packages will be picked up the next USPS business day after the order is marked "shipped". USPS does not pick up on Sunday or postal holidays. A list of postal holidays can be found here: https://about.usps.com/newsroom/events/
    • FedEx:
      • FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes and requires a street address.  
      • FedEx orders are dropped off every evening, Monday-Friday. 
      • We are unable to ship FedEx orders on Saturday, Sunday or any FedEx Holiday, as there is no pickup. FedEx does deliver on Saturday to most locations.
      • Orders with Fed Ex shipping will frequently be shipped the same or next business day after they are placed.

INTERNATIONAL (Non-US) SHIPPING

International orders are welcome! We've shipped WORLDWIDE.

  • *UPDATE* - USPS has suspended shipments to a number of countries, listed here:  https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service-alerts/international/welcome.htm
  • International Economy orders are shipped using Asendia USA, via PirateShip.  Once your order reaches your country, a local postal service tracking number may be assigned.   You can track those orders (starting with AHOY) at https://a1.asendiausa.com/tracking/
  • We are able to ship outside the US with FedEx, but as pricing varies by location please contact us for a quote and custom order prior to placing your order.   
  • During the holidays, it can take even longer to arrive due to delays in customs.
  • There is limited to no tracking for some international orders once they leave the United States, and some high-risk countries (such as India, Mexico, or Italy) may be "at your risk", since we are not responsible for the package once it's scanned into the postal service system in the US.  
  • Please contact us if you would like to order and your country is not an available destination or if you would like a FedEx shipping quote. 
  • Please note, every country can vary in terms of customs tax and regulations, it is the buyer's responsibility to know your country's customs regulations and laws.
  • Items returned by the destination country's customs due to non-payment of duties or fees will not be refunded.   

 

REFUNDS and EXCHANGES

We have a 30-day return policy on stock items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.   This policy excludes any custom, personalized, or clearance/"ready to ship" items.   Any stock items returned are to returned at the customer's expense and subject to a 15% restocking fee, as all items are created at the time they're ordered and we do not typically "stock" goods.    

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can contact us at Trisha@completely-hammered.com.   If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package.  If desired, we can send you a return label to make it easier, with the cost of the label being deducted from the amount of the refund.   Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  Any "forced returns" sent to us without prior authorization will be held for up to 3 months until the customer either purchases postage to have the package returned to them.  Any packages left longer than 3 months will be considered "abandoned" and destroyed.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We are not responsible for and will not consider an item to be defective or damaged for the following reasons (all the below have been necessitated by past interactions):

  • The customer’s failure to read the description and specifications provided for each item.   
  • The item “smells like metal”, when it IS metal. 
  • The customer’s preconceived notions not matching the stated dimensions, description or photos in the listing. For example: “I imagined it would be bigger” when it’s clearly stated that the item is 1” tall.   
  • Personalized gifts no longer needed due to a breakup/argument with the intended giftee. 
  • Items looking "different" than the item photo when the customer has requested numerous changes to the original design. 
  • Gift recipients moving and not giving the customer their updated address.  
  • Items that are shipped to the wrong address because the customer didn’t update their address on their accounts, their device input an old address, or their forwarding order has expired.  We ship to the address provided.  If caught before the item is handed to the post office, we can correct it, but once it’s been handed over there is not much we can do.  
  • Reshipment cost for packages that are returned to us because the incorrect address was entered or the apartment number omitted by the customer.  Please double check that the address entered is correct and complete.
  • Our packaging not matching your theme and/or not being “suitable” for the gender of the gift recipient.  
  • Shipping carrier delays that make the gift miss an event, especially when due to the customers refusal to upgrade shipping to the expedited options available.
  • Typos and incorrect information entered by the customer.  We make absolutely no claims professing to have psychic abilities.   Please double check all personalization before submitting your order. 
  • Defects in discounted items that are clearly visible in the photo or outlined in the description.   They’re the reason they’re discounted.  

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and earrings (hygiene). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.   

Please note: the 14-day cooling-off period doesn't apply to goods made to order or clearly personalised.  

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

REFUSED / RETURNED ORDERS:

The customer will be charged full shipping costs for all refused shipments or shipments that USPS returns to our shop due to incorrect address entry by the customer.  These packages will be held for 3 months and then considered abandoned/destroyed unless the customer chooses to have the item re-shipped at their cost.  

If the package is to be reshipped, the customer will have to pay for all additional postage to return the item to them.   Please be sure that your address info is correct at the time of order and that for any packages shipped as gifts outside the US the recipient is expecting the gift and that there may be duties or taxes.  

 

CUSTOMS/IMPORT DUTIES and LOCAL DELIVERY

On International orders, customs and import duties may be applied once the shipment reaches its destination. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and will vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details. 

We are not able to influence local delivery practices. The time it takes to get your order from the local post office to your recipient's address can vary widely from country to country. Delivery may be delayed by customs/import duties and local postal requirements.

TAXES 

In accordance with applicable law, Completely Hammered collects sales tax on orders shipped within the state of Indiana.   We also collect and remit all VAT for UK shipments.   

USE OF PHOTOS

Completely Hammered reserves the right to photograph your customized pieces and post those photos online for selling purposes. However, we will never publish any item with personal information (Phone #, address, last name, etc), divulge your personal information to the public, or sell your information. Each design is photographed to prepare for listing in our online store.
